VEGA Radar Level Measurement for VARIBOX

VARIBOX Full Containment and Compact Containment IBCs can be combined with VEGA radar technology for contactless level measurement from outside the container. A dedicated VEGA mounting adapter positions a compatible radar sensor on the VARIBOX, allowing it to measure through the double wall without being installed inside the container or touching the product. VARIBOX supplies the container. VEGA advises on, sells and supplies the mounting adapter, radar sensor and measurement equipment. One Compatible Solution, Two Suppliers

VARIBOX and VEGA combine their specialist expertise to create a complete container and measurement solution. VARIBOX provides the reusable IBC and supports customers with containers.. VEGA complements the container with the appropriate mounting adapter, radar sensor and measurement technology. Contactless Measurement from Outside

The VEGA radar sensor is positioned on the outside of the VARIBOX using the dedicated adapter. Its radar signal passes through the container walls, reflects from the surface of the liquid and returns to the sensor. This provides continuous level information without opening the IBC, installing a probe inside the container or bringing the sensor into direct contact with the product. The external measuring principle complements the closed, reusable design of the VARIBOX.

Continuous Visibility of Container Contents

A compatible VEGA radar sensor can provide continuous information about the amount of product remaining inside the VARIBOX. Depending on the sensor and system configuration, these measured values can support inventory monitoring, replenishment decisions, production planning, container exchange and remote stock visibility. VEGA determines how the values are displayed, transmitted or integrated into a control or inventory-management system.
