The extractor tube also features a non-return valve at the bottom. This blocks the return flow of product through the tube, although it is not designed to provide a fully sealed shut-off.

The NS4 system creates a closed connection between the VARIBOX FC 1000 and your dosing equipment. When the matching NS4 coupler is connected, the extractor tube and coupler open simultaneously, allowing the chemical to flow through the system.

After disconnection, the NS4 extractor tube automatically closes.

This means the VARIBOX does not need to be opened during normal dispensing. The closed system helps keep chemicals and fumes contained and reduces unnecessary interaction between operators and the product.

Integrated Return Connection

Some chemical dosing installations require a return line. For these applications, the NS4 extractor tube has a return connection integrated as standard at the top of the system.

Efficient Emptying with Low Residual Volume

The NS4 extractor tube reaches the lowest point of the VARIBOX FC 1000 inner container, allowing the product to be extracted efficiently.

After emptying, approximately 0.1 litre remains in the VARIBOX FC and approximately 0.05 litre remains inside the extractor tube. These values are based on tests with water and can vary depending on the chemical and operating conditions.

Low residual volumes help reduce valuable product being left behind and minimise the amount of chemical waste that needs to be handled after emptying.

EPDM Configuration

This NS4 extractor tube is the EPDM version for the VARIBOX FC 1000.

Selecting the correct sealing configuration is essential when working with chemicals. The corresponding EPDM NS4 coupler should always be used with the EPDM extractor tube.

VARIBOX distinguishes the NS4 couplers by colour to help operators identify the correct version: the EPDM NS4 coupler has a red jacket, while the Viton version has a grey jacket.
